Admission into the MAcc Program
Admission to the Master of Accountancy degree program is based on the applicant's undergraduate record and score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). For a MAcc brochure, visit the Accounting Department's Publications Web page.
There are four admission requirements outlined below:
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any subject with an undergraduate GPA of 2.7 or above.
- A minimum score on the GMAT of 450 is required for admission to the program.
- International students must make a minimum score on the TOEFL exam of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 80 (Internet-based). In lieu of the TOEFL, student may take the IELTS exam and score 6.5.
- Applicants' undergraduate degree must be in accounting or, in lieu of a bachelors degree in accounting, an applicant may be admitted by presenting a bachelors degree in another field and credit in the following undergraduate (or equivalent) courses (42 hours):
