The original Torreyson Library is the building known now as Harrin Hall, built in 1929. The present Torreyson was constructed in 1963 with $1 million for 45,000 sq. ft., with major renovation and expansion of 107,000 sq. ft. completed in 1992. Library is named for B. W. Torreyson, president of UCA from 1917-1930.
