
Constructed as a female residence hall in 1939, part of hall continues for that purpose today. The remainder houses offices of admissions, financial aid, career planning and placement, student services, counseling services, broadcast services, student health services and copying center. Named for Mary Augusta Bernard, who was head of the fine arts department from 1909-1932.
Long Student Health Center
Opened in 1987 and originally in a house on Bruce street, the center is now housed in Bernard Hall. Named for Dorothy Long, mathematics instructor and dean of women during her career from 1945-1976.
