Picture of Estes Stadium

Estes Stadium, home of the UCA Bears football program, is truly one of the finest on-campus stadiums in the nation. The facility houses the entire football operation, including coaches? offices, training room, weight room, locker room and team meeting rooms. On the innovative concourse level of the stadium, UCA football fans enjoy contemporary restrooms and concessions facilities, as well as improved seating and vision. In addition, the facility houses the Hall of Fame room on the concourse level, which began in 2001 and brings back countless memories for UCA fans. The field has been used for football for an unknown period, with first bleachers and press box erected in 1939 on west side and east side seating added in 1967. Estes Stadium's west (home) side was rebuilt from the ground up before the 1998 season, and named for G. Dan Estes, who coached football at UCA from 1915-1932. The new $5 million dollar facility houses the entire football program, including dressing room, weight room, meeting and film rooms, equipment room, coaches' offices and athletic training room. The concourse (second) level consists of consession stands, novelty stands and restrooms and offers a unique view of the game in progress. The members of the UCA Purple Circle Club, the school's athletic booster club, receive reserved seating in the lower concourse level. The concourse level also features the Hall of Honor room, which will house the UCA Sports Hall of Fame and will serve as a reception area during games and throughout the year. The third level, which rises some eight stories, is home to the press box, radio booths, coaches' booths, film decks and president's reception area. The second and third levels are both accessed by elevator. The stadium also received a new $100,000, state-of-the-art scoreboard midway through the 1998 season, and quickly tested it out with a 62-12 victory over Arkansas-Monticello.
