Brent has taught at UCA since 1999. He is a dedicated educator and performer, teaching horn lessons, high brass methods, and chamber music; and performing with Pinnacle Brass, the resident faculty quintet. He often appears as a featured soloist in recital or with ensembles. Brent serves as principal hornist of the Conway Symphony and Pine Bluff Symphony, and plays third horn in the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. In the summer he works with Dixie Band Camp at UCA, and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. He also assists the International Horn Society as the Arkansas Area Rep and the Regional Workshop Coordinator. Brent is an artist clinican for C. G. Conn Horns.
