Alumni Association Scholarship applications available in January

Alumni Association Scholarship applications for the 2006-07 academic year will be available beginning Thursday, Jan. 5.
Applications and scholarship criteria may be picked up in Buffalo Alumni Hall or on-line at www.uca.edu/alumni/scholarships. The deadline for submission is Noon on March 10.

UCA supporters treated to night of feasting and carols

The feast and carols, hosted by the University of Central Arkansas Foundation, was in thanks to members of the Foundation?s Presidents Club, UCA?s highest annual giving club. Members of the Presidents Club give at least $1,000 annually to the UCA Foundation.
UCA students set record with world's largest stocking

The group, led by senior public relations major Brittany Jones, constructed a 53 foot tall and 26 foot wide red felt stocking that broke the previous world record set last September by more than 13 feet in length and 11 feet in width.
Youth Theatre of Central Arkansas registering for spring classes

The Youth Theatre of Central Arkansas is registering participants for a unique one-day acting workshop titled ?Shakespeare in Pajamas.? The workshop is for students in grades 7-12 and will be held Saturday, Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Studio Theatre of the Snow Fine Arts Center on the campus of UCA.
UCA to present Amahl & the Night Visitors

The Three Wise Kings? journey to Bethlehem is interrupted as they seek shelter for the night at the home of a crippled shepherd boy. When Amahl?s poverty-stricken mother attempts to steal some of the kings? gold, a battle royale ensues, and young Amahl?s life is changed forever. ?Amahl and the Night Visitors? is a story of redemption, true generosity and small miracles.
