The MSN degree program has two majors, the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and the Nurse Practitioner (NP) tracks. Students in the CNS track may select from adult medical/surgical or community/family focus areas. Two focus areas are offered in the NP track; adult and family primary care. These majors prepare students to assume the role of advanced practice nurse. Students may begin the program any semester after being admitted, in the spring, summer, or fall semesters. |

The nurse educator (NE) certificate is available to all MSN students. Students who choose this option have the required Educational Concepts course waived (NURS 6305). |
