Dear Prospective Student:

Thank you for your interest in our nursing program, which leads to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. For the traditional undergraduate BSN program, applications are accepted each Spring and one class is admitted each year to begin in the fall semester. Admission is competitive and is based upon completion of the first level prerequisite courses; academic achievement; and scores on an admission exam. Preference is given to UCA pre-nursing students. Applications, available by January 15 and due March 1, can be obtained online or from the department by calling 501-450-5526. You must also apply for admission to UCA online at http://www.uca.edu/admission. If you have attended UCA before, you can apply for readmission through the UCA Registrar's Office.

If you are already a licensed nurse, we have the following tracks and degrees: LPN/LPTN to BSN, RN to BSN, RN to BSN/MSN, and MSN. Applications for these tracks are accepted at any time.

UCA Department of Nursing partners with the US Army and UCA ROTC awards four, three, and two year scholarships. Recipients of the ROTC Nursing Excellence four year scholarships are guaranteed a position in the nursing class, assuming program qualifications are met.
