Meet the following GPA and course prerequisite requirements: Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above. Admission GPA is based upon the cumulative GPA or GPA of the required 34 hours of nursing prerequisites (listed below). A grade of "C" or above for all of the 34 hours of nursing prerequisites. BIOL 1400--Biology for General Education BIOL 2405--Human Anatomy & Physiology CHEM 1402--General Chemistry for Health Sciences CHEM 2450--Introduction to Organic Biochemistry MATH 1390--College Algebra NUTR 1300--Nutrition Life Cycle PSYC 1300--General Psychology SOC 1300--Principles of Sociology WRTG 1310--Introduction to College Writing WRTG 1320--Academic Writing
Be a UCA student. If not currently a UCA student, submit an Undergraduate application online to UCA.
Submit hard-copy (paper) transcripts of any courses not taken at UCA directly to the Department of Nursing.
Read through and acknowledge you understand the following documents: Information Concerning Persons Convicted of a Crime Abilities and Skills for Admission and Progression Substance Abuse Policy
Submit the Generic/Traditional BSN application and all supporting documents to the Department of Nursing: Between January 15 and March 1 Applications will only be accepted during that time frame. Applications hand-delivered or postmarked after March 1 will be considered late. Applications received before January 15 will be returned.
