Do you want (or need) students to write more in your class? Personal
writing is a great tool that helps students share themselves with
others. More importantly students are knowledgeable and passionate
about the subject. Personal writing gets students writing! Come join
us for a few days of fun, writing, and learning methods and ideas
for using and promoting personal writing in your classroom. Teachers
of all ages and subjects are invited to attend!
Here’s what you’ll receive when you participate in the open:
Lots of great ideas and materials you can adapt for your own
classroom
Time to do some of your own personal writing
Collaboration with other teachers of writing
A book of writing prompts for your classroom
20 Hours of Professional Development including 3 in technology
