PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION COUNCIL


Charge:
  1. The Professional Educational Council provides leadership for all professional education programs. It initiates, receives, and develops recommendations on all policies, proceedings, and standards affecting professional education.
  2. To ensure that all professional education programs are organized, unified, and coordinated to allow fulfillment of the mission of the professional education unit.
  3. To ensure that the professional education curricula are built upon knowledge bases essential for effective practice and upon the findings of research.

Membership: Membership on the Professional Education Council is representative of the degree programs, academic support functions, students at the basic and advanced levels, and the world of practice.
