Opportunities for Hughes Students

• Hughes-ies will be given the opportunity to participate in specialized training for public speaking and debate.

• Students' participation in long-established traditions tie the experiences of current Hughes students to Hughes alums in a way that is much more common in the Ivy League than in state universities.

• Volunteer opportunities are available for Hughes students within the UCA community and beyond.  In the past, Hughes-ies have served as volunteers for such organizations as: the Faulkner County Boys and Girls' Club and Heifer Project International.   

• Residential College faculty and staff are available to provide assistance in initiating involvement with these--and dozens of others--philanthropic organizations.
