Pet Adoption Day

The UCA Humane Society assists with the HSFC's Adoption Day at Pet Country (Donaghey across from Dairy Queen) occasionally on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm.  We need volunteers to play with and walk the dogs who are up for adoption.  (This is available every Saturday, so for more information on the pet adoption days or adopting through the HSFC, see their web site.)

The UCA Humane Society will also be volunteering at the grand opening of PetsMart in mid-October. We will be holding and playing with the cats and dogs and encouraging customers to adopt a new pet! The times are as follows:

Sat. 10/9 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Sun. 10-10 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Mon.-Thurs. 10/11-10/14 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

CatBusters

Volunteers are needed on an on-going basis to put out traps on campus, monitor them, and take the cat to the vet. We will show you how to use the traps and what to do when you catch a cat!  If you're interested, please visit the contacts page and contact Chiara Gann.
