UCA was the first public institution in Arkansas to offer entering freshmen an opportunity to live and learn in a Residential College.  These buildings are more than just places to live, especially for the SRC students past and present who have worked to create traditions and cultivate community.    

State's unique character is demonstrated in its strong traditions, including the annual trips to Blanchard Springs and Memphis.
