The ACT Residual Exams will be given three times during the summer months. Check back in February 2008 for days and times.
This exam is only for people who have missed the regular ACT Exam given on national testdates. Scores resulting from Residual exams administered at UCA can be used only for admission purposes at UCA. Scores cannot be transferred to any other institution. Some people (students age 21 or older) are not required to take the ACT exam for admission to UCA. Check with the UCA Admissions Office if you are unsure of your requirements.
The fee for this exam is $40.00 (non-refundable). To register, you must complete a registration form--download a PDF form from this link: form link--and return it with a $40 check or money order to University Testing Office, University of Central Arkansas, 201 Donaghey, Conway, AR 72035. Your registration form must reach the Testing Office at least five business days before the test date.
On the day of the test, registered students must bring: acceptable ID (see www.act.org), a calculator and some #2 lead pencils (no mechanical pencils). A student will not be allowed to test without acceptable ID.
If you decide to retest, you must wait at least 60 days between Residual Exams. If you violate the 60-day wait, your retest score will be cancelled and your fee will not be refunded.
If accommodations are warranted because of disability, please mention it when you register for the exam. Before accommodations can be determined, you must have a complete file in the UCA Office of Disability Support Services. Please refer to: www.uca.edu/divisions/student/disability.
