Master of Science (M.S.) Degree in Counseling Psychology
The Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology is designed so that it may serve either as a terminal degree or as a foundation for prospective doctoral candidates. The majority of our graduates from this program are mental health professionals working in private practice, community mental health centers, or state and private agencies. Requirements for the completion of the Master of Science degree include: Sixty (60) semester hours of graduate credit, including a one semester internship. Graduates can become Licensed Professional Counselors by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.

Internship Forms for Community Counseling (Master's Degree)
- Note: If the following Word documents do not open in Word, you can right-click and "Save target as" to save the document to your computer and then open in Word.
- Internship Contract - MUST be completed and signed by licensed, doctoral-level psychologist/supervisor before you begin internship
- Internship Site Evaluation by Student - Student completes at end of semester.
- Intern Evaluation by Onsite Supervisor - Completed at mid-term and end of semester and should be delivered to the UCA supervisor before the end of the semester
- Internship Log - Keep a running log of your activities and submit at end of semester.
