US Senator Visits PT Department.  Pictured below, US Senator Blanche Linocln (Dem, AR) with UCA Physical Therapy Faculty on September 13, 2007.  U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln (Dem, Ark.) visited the PT Department on September 13, 2007.  The Senator was greeted on arrival to the PT Center by Dr. Reese and other faculty as well as university administrators including President Lu Hardin. She then admired the PT Alumni portrait gallery as she made her way to greet first year DPT students in Dr. Maresh's Fundamental Skills lecture.  She then toured two lab courses where she observed students participating in the adult neuro lab and peds lab in progress.  She ended the tour with a reception where she was greeted by the Physical Therapy faculty, officers of the Arkansas Chapter of the APTA, and others.

2007 McLauchlin Graduate Scholarship Recipient

Rosemarie Dickinson, DPT Student in the Class of 2008, was recently honored with the 2007-2008 Robert McLauchlin Graduate Scholarhship presented by the UCA Graduate School.  This award has been awarded to nine PT students over the 10 year history of the award developed in honor of the former Dean of the Graduate School at UCA.  The 2007-2008 award was also presented to Angie Renee Elizandro, a PhD student in the school psychology program.
