Select Physical Therapy in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a physical therapist for a full-time opening. New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply. We are 100% outpatient with a staff of one full-time physical therapist (a 2006 UCA graduate) and 1 front office personnel. We treat primarily adult and adolescent orthopedic patients from local family practice/internal medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, sports medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and VA physicians. We operate a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends and receive 5 major holidays off. Select PT is owned by Select Medical Corporation, based in Pennsylvania. Select Medical also owns several other facilities, such as LTAC units, rehab hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, etc. There are nearly 1,000 Select Medical outpatient facilities in 37 states, which makes Select Physical Therapy the largest provider of outpatient physical therapy in the nation. Each facility operates as part of this larger corporation, but it is "run" by the individual therapists within that facility. For example, you market to the physicians that you want, treat the type of patients that you want to, and more importantly, treat the way that you have been taught and want to treat without someone standing over your shoulder the whole time. With that being said, you still have a multitude of resources available locally, regionally, and nationally if you do have a question. Select PT is a great place to work.
