She left Arkansas at an early age. She and Erwin founded this modern dance company in Los Angeles in the late '70's. AETN will film her concerts and do a feature on her life. Lula's visit is underwritten by New England Foundation for the Arts, Mid-America Arts Alliance and its partners, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Arkansas Arts Council.
