Usage & Rental Policies

Built with a grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, the Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall is a multi-use proscenium theater, seating 1200. It opened on September 15, 2000, with a concert by the late Ray Charles. It is used extensively for UCA Public Appearances events, for Conway Symphony Orchestra concerts, and by the academic departments at UCA, including the Departments of Music and Theatre.

Reynolds Performance Hall is also for rent, pending availability. Basic costs are as follows: $500 for a four-hour block, plus technical support; and $1,000 for an eight-hour block, plus technical support. Additional hours are charged at $100 per hour, plus technical support.

UCA Public Appearances, which manages the Hall, can provide full box office services, including online ticketing, for a nominal fee.

Hall amenities include a full-sized stage; a very good lighting system with control; very good acoustics along with a sizable sound system; a full-stage orchestra shell; an adjustable orchestra pit beneath the apron; two pianos, including a 9-foot concert grand (Baldwin), and various dressing and rehearsal rooms backstage. The Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center, with its seven rentable rooms, sits adjacent to the Performance Hall. It is managed by the department of Academic Outreach and Extended Learning. For rental or usage information, call (501) 450-5280.

All usages of Reynolds Performance Hall are subject approval. The University reserves the right to disapprove of usages/rentals at its sole discretion.
