Martha Anderson Book Scholarship

For Outstanding Speech-Language Pathology Students

Eligibility Criteria

  • Overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25 in major
  • Active NSSLHA member

Award Recipients

Award recipients will include one undergraduate student, one graduate student, and one at large member who have been active in the local NSSLHA Chapter. Awards are given each fall and spring semester. Recipients are selected by a Scholarship Committee consisting of the SLP Faculty.

$300.00

Application Deadlines

  • Fall Semester: April 1
  • Spring Semester: November 1

Application Material Should Include

  • A typed statement of 500 words or less which describes the development of your interests in Speech-Language Pathology, your career plans following completion of your study, and why you feel financial need is needed.
  • A statement of how you have been involved in the local chapter of the National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (see application form).
  • Proof of enrollment for the semester you are applying for the scholarship.

Note: The Scholarship Committee considers all application information confidential material and it  is treated as such.

Notification of Award

Winners will be notified within two weeks from the application deadline.
