UCA Staff Senate Scholarships
The UCA Staff Senate will begin accepting applications for the following scholarships in February 2010.
1. Staff Senate Employee Scholarship
The Staff Senate Employee Scholarship was established by the UCA Staff Senate to assist a full-time UCA staff employee in pursuing a degree at the University of Central Arkansas.
2. Staff Senate Scholarship for Dependents of UCA Staff
This scholarship is for dependents of full-time UCA staff employees who meet the eligibility criteria for the staff fee waiver as outlined in the staff handbook and are pursuing a degree at the University of Central Arkansas. The student must be in good standing academically and must have completed at least 30 hours of college credit with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5.
3. Lilly Harmon Staff Senate Scholarship for a UCA Staff Employee or the Dependent of a UCA Staff Employee
One Lilly Harmon Staff Senate Scholarship will be awarded by the UCA Staff Senate to assist either a full-time staff employee or the dependent of a full-time staff employee in pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technology field of study. The staff dependent must have completed at least 30 semester hours of college course work prior to application and have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.5.
When applications become available they may be obtained at the Library Reference Desk, Physical Plant Receptionist Desk, Student Center Information Desk, or Financial Aid. You may also print the applications from UCA Staff Senate website at: www.uca.edu/staffsenate.
