Strategic Plan
In February 2010, the University of Central Arkansas began the process of developing a long-term strategic plan that establishes goals and strategies to enhance academic excellence and to meet the needs of the region and state. The strategic plan will look at institutional and environmental driving forces that impact the university as well as UCA's strengths and weaknesses. It also will focus on the university's core values, mission, vision and institutional distinctiveness. The plan is being developed by various stakeholders – UCA staff, students, faculty, alumni and representatives from the Conway community.
A Strategic Planning and Resource Council and four task forces have been established.
