Tutoring and Coaching Appointments
Choose the option that best fits your needs. (Summer Appointments are available)
Schedule time with a tutor or success coach. You can also visit the Tutoring and Academic Success Center in person in the Torreyson Library, room 223 (second floor) or our success coaches in the Student Success & Veterans Resource Center, 302 Donaghey Avenue, or email us for assistance.
Own Your Education – Track Your Study Minutes.
Tracking your study minutes is about building self-accountability and becoming more intentional about how you use your time.
Track your study time by scanning in and out at:
- Torreyson Library front desk – Check in/out at the kiosk located on the back side of one of the pillars near the front desk.
- Tutoring & Academic Support Center (Torreyson Library #223)
- Student Success & Veterans Resource Center lobby – Check in/out at the front desk.
- Office of Student Advocacy & Community (Bernard #207)
- All Living-Learning Community (LLC) or Honors
How are you doing this week? Check your Study Minutes and see how close you are to reaching your weekly goal.
Remember, 300 minutes is your starting point. The goal is to build a study routine that works for you, and the habit of holding yourself accountable for your academic success.
FirstGen@UCA
First-generation students are an important part of the UCA community. Approximately 40% of UCA students are first-generation, joining the 54% of undergraduate students nationwide who are the first in their families to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Student Success Services is a proud supporter of our first-generation students and FirstGen@UCA programs. Many staff and student staff in Student Success were also first-gen!

Spring registration for Bear Life will open mid-November 2026 for all new first time freshmen. If you are an incoming first-year student, check out Bear Life. Bear Life helps you stay on track your first year by connecting you with the people, tools, and experiences that will help you thrive academically at UCA.
