New Faculty and Staff Orientation
New Employee Orientation – The Office of Human Resources provides a personalized one-on-one employee orientation when a new employee is hired. To complement the HR program, the New Faculty Orientation and New Staff Orientation programs present additional university information to all new hires.
New Faculty Orientation – The Instructional Development Center (IDC) sponsors the orientation program. For program dates and information contact idc@uca.edu or 450-5240.
New Staff Orientation – The coordinator for this program is Mrs. Charlotte Strickland. Charlotte may be reached at 450-5470 or training@uca.edu. The New Staff Orientation is a 5 hour program covering information on Academic Life, Campus Life, FERPA, Staff Senate, Education Seminar opportunities, and specific Human Resources information. The orientation includes lunch, door prizes and a campus tour. All new staff is urged to attend. You’ll learn about the campus, gain understanding of your benefits, and discover some of the many opportunities that are available to UCA employees.
This program is offered twice a year to all new University staff employees. To register for New Staff Orientation contact the Education Seminar Coordinator at training@uca.edu or call 450-5470.
