What can I do? | Sophomore Year Experience ProgramSophomore Year Experience ProgramThere are other options available for your second year student, including the Sophomore Year Experience Program The Sophomore Year Experience is designed to meet the needs of second year students by creating programs that deal directly with the issues they are currently facing, including: Building Leadership skills, Deciding a Major, Creating a Community, Civic Participation, and Building Life Skills. SYE MISSION STATEMENT : The mission of the Sophomore Year Experience Program is to develop student leaders who are guided by the character values of respect, justice, service, honesty, and community, and to assist second-year students with enhancing their educational goals by engaging in academically oriented activities outside the classroom. UCA Housing and Residence Life & Under Graduate Studies recognize that sophomores can and want to make a difference. The Sophomore Experience Program will provide programs specifically designed to prepare sophomores to be leaders and active members of their community in Stadium Park and campus wide.
