John Rohweder was dedicated to the promise of student self-development and expression that teaching makes possible.  Working at different times with University College and the Honors College, he was able to fulfill a commitment to diversity as well as student-centered collaborative learning.  He envisioned a way of uniting these by bringing top-performing students from University College into the Honors College.  This scholarship intends to put his idea into practice by identifying and awarding tuition support for John Rohweder Scholars.
