World Languages, Literatures, and CulturesBA Foreign Language ExemptionAccording to the UCA Undergraduate Bulletin, "In cases of unusually thorough preparation, or in the case of international students, exemption [for the FL requirement] may be sought from the Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. http://www.uca.edu/ubulletin/02/208.html UCA students whose native language is not English should know that the Department of World Languages will routinely grant an exemption to the foreign language requirement for the Bachelor of Arts degree to any student who speaks a language other than English at the intermediate level or higher.
