The Writing Project was one of the best things that every happened to me, so we wanted to bring it to UCA.

About Me:
Husband, father, grandfather, teacher, writer. I also coach presentations in the summer institute and I co-direct when the ladies will let me. I'm the conference committee chairperson for the Rural Sites Network National Convention in 2011. I'll finish my masters in May of 2010.

When did you go through the Summer Institute?
I was a participant in the 2004 summer institute.


Where and what do you teach?
I work in Vilonia schools in the credit recovery lab which means I don't actually teach anything


What made you want to join the Great Bear Writing Project?

About Me:
I am an elementary teacher, have been for many years, and I serve as Inservice Director for the Great Bear Writing Project of Central Arkansas.

was a participant in the 2002 Summer Institute.

Where and what do you teach?
I teach third grade in the Vilonia schools. 

What made you want to join the Great Bear Writing Project?
Sharing what not to do and what does not work, can be as valuable as knowing what does.
