The Department of Writing’s Internship Program places students in learning environments in which their knowledge and skills are put to practical, professional use.

The program strives to offer a variety of internship opportunities which showcase the ability of graduates in our various degree programs to be successful in a multitude of workplace settings.

Further, the job experience and professional contacts resulting from an internship are intended to enhance students’ competitiveness in future job searches.

We believe internships should be viewed as an exploratory opportunity for students to learn not only about a particular career path but more about their own talents and skills as well.
