Help with Speeches
Writing Center consultants can also help you improve both the content and delivery of speeches. We encourage you to begin working with a consultant as you develop the content of your speech.
When you are ready to begin practicing its delivery, come back to the Writing Center, and we will record you giving your speech. The Writing Center contains an enclosed room with recording equipment. We will then watch the recording with you and provide suggestions for improvement. You are welcome to practice as many times as you wish.
