Video Chat Instructions
| 1. | Schedule a video chat appointment by calling 450-5123. |
| 2. | If you don’t have a Gmail account, set one up before your video chat session using any email account you prefer. |
| 3. | At the time of your video chat session, look for one of the following email accounts in the left-hand corner of the screen where usernames are listed: See screenshot. wcwebcamera1@gmail.com |
| 4. | You will be invited to chat by a tutor. |
| 5. | Your tutor will call you to begin the session. |
| 6. | You will respond to the call by clicking the green “answer” button. See screen shot. |
| 7. | Click the arrow in the upper right-hand corner of the video chat box to expand the window. See screen shot. |
| 8. | Your tutor will start the session by asking for your ID number, instructor's name, and type of assignment. |
| 9. | Along with the greeting, your tutor will log parts of your conversation. Note: Although your tutor may take notes throughout the session, video chat is an oral chat session, not a text messaging session. Your session will last 25 minutes. |
